The Foundation for Dental Laboratory Technology (Foundation) has announced a new in-kind donation from AvaDent. AvaDent has developed a comprehensive array of educational content in the area of digital denture design. There are two major components – one encompasses a series of baseline educational videos on digital dentures, and the other component is a user-controlled online tutorial, where the participant can learn and hone different aspects of digital denture design.

The educational videos will be free to individuals on the Foundation Learning Library. The user-controlled tutorial modules will have a nominal registration fee.

“The Foundation is very excited to announce this new educational offering through the generosity of AvaDent. The technical team at Avadent has developed a fantastic program that provides value not only to dental laboratory technicians, but anyone interested in learning about digital dentures,” said Foundation Chair, Gary Iocco.

This new program will be available by mid-October on the Foundation Learning Library at www.dentallabfoundation.org/courses.
