DEXIS CariVu™ offers a unique experience in caries detection. SoproLIFE® is two devices in one—a caries detection device and a high-magnification intraoral camera—and can switch its lighting from four white LEDs to four blue LEDs using autofluorescence technology to allow the end user to see variations of the dentin’s health state. SoproLIFE can be used for caries detection in both occlusal and interproximal areas, even in its earliest stages, which can often be missed by the eyes or x-rays.
