GlobaLink Dental Solutions offers the Orion Pulse 200i, an advanced micro pulse-arc welding system that features Intelligent Welding™. This newly developed technology simplifies the welding process by automatically adjusting weld settings for any metal or application. The new Orion features a 9-inch touch screen that conveniently mounts to the 3-D microscope arm, putting the user in complete control of the welding process. Pulse-shaping options include high-frequency pulse agitation for difficult metals like palladium; an adaptive weld-ignition system extends electrode life significantly; and a new rapid-fire setting that allow users to weld with laser-like speed. In addition, the new Nano setting provides extremely precise weld energy control, from 0.5 to 5 joules. Typical applications include bridge repair, adding contacts, extending margins, partial and clasp repairs, implant case welding, various orthodontic applications.
