The Western Society of Periodontology named Sherri M. Lukes, RDH, MS, FAADH, its Dental Hygiene Speaker of the Year for 2023.

Lukes is the owner of Sherri Lukes Speaking/Consulting. She also is an Associate Professor Emerita at Southern Illinois University, a Past President of the Illinois Dental Hygienists Association, and a member of Inside Dental Hygiene's Editorial Advisory Board.
