December 29, 2014 -- SciCan, a leader in infection control and instrument reprocessing, announced the following changes to its Executive Management Team

John Westermeier has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer of SciCan, Ltd. This new appointment will be effective as of January 1, 2015. 

John brings over 20 years of relevant industry experience to his new role. He joined SciCan in 2007 as Director of New Product Sales and has held a variety of leadership roles within the organization, most recently as President of SciCan, Inc. In his new role as C.E.O., John will assume overall responsibility for SciCan, including all lines of business and functional groups.

Rich Strader has been promoted to President of SciCan, Inc. This new appointment will be effective as of January 1, 2015.

Rich has held the position of National Sales Manager since 2001. He has been responsible for SciCan’s continued growth and expansion within the U.S. market. Rich has an in depth knowledge of the US Dental business and strong relationships at all levels of SciCan, Inc.’s distributor networks. In his new role, Rich will be responsible for expanding SciCan’s Dental and Medical businesses.
