Representatives from Ronald McDonald House Charities will be on hand at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, to make a check presentation to St. Elizabeth Health Center’s mobile dental services.
The $15,000 donation will be used to provide educational and clinical support for the school-based mobile dental service.
The St. Elizabeth Smile Station dental service provides high quality, comprehensive oral health services to low income children in schools and Head Start programs in Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
Oral health services are provided through regularly scheduled school visits the fully-staffed and equipped mobile dental clinic. The two mobile dental busses, staffed by a team of dentists and a hygienist, provide preventative dental care exams, x-rays and cleanings, fillings, extractions, sealants and referrals.
