TWG Sports Inc, located in Bethesda , MD announces its launch of the patent pending TWG line of enhanced safety mouth guards.

TWG Sports Inc, located in Bethesda, MD announces its premiere launch this summer of its athletic mouth guard line. This exclusive line of athletic mouth guards is designed to provide unmatched concussion protection in contact sports through its patent pending self-aligning system. Unlike traditional “boil and bites” which leave room for operator error, the TWG –X was designed by a dentist using the same principles of stability and thickness widely used and accepted by the dental community for years. This stability affords concussion, jaw and tooth safety like no other mouth guard on the market presently.

Michael Wright , a Bethesda, MD based dentist designed the athletic mouth guard and its features to provide the safety he feels is lacking in the affordable over the counter mouthguard products today. His revelation for the need came after treating and rehabilitating previously injured professional and amateur athletes in his practice for over a decade that seemed inadequately protected. These athletes either due to time or financial constraints did not have custom mouthguards fabricated in a dental office as recommended and had opted for over the counter mouthguards as their protection. Dr. Michael Wright worked to create a design that would be as effective as the in office custom guard and be easily accessible and affordable to the masses. This summer Dr. Wright is launching a massive concussion safety awareness campaign along with his product launch to educate athletes of all ages and their loved ones of the dangers of being inadequately protected. Many other mouth guard products market performance but Dr. Wright believes an adequately protected and positioned player will naturally exhibit increased performance. He will lecture to various groups regarding mouth guard safety and hopes that this educational process will afford better opportunities for prevention of tooth, jaw and mouth injuries. His desire is to reach out to as many school coaches, parents, athletic directors and community based athletic groups that are willing to listen in hopes of preventing many devastating and often times irreversible mouth, head and jaw injuries to today's athletes.

Dr. Michael Wright is hopeful that through a grassroots campaign, utilizing organized dentistry, awareness and education the above goals can be achieved rapidly, providing a better quality of life throughout the life of the athlete.
