Dawson Academy Announces New “Master’s Forum”

The Dawson Academy has announced the availability of The Masters Forum, an learning experience focused on specific actions dentists can take to enhance their practice. In this highly interactive program conducted by Dr. Peter Dawson, founder of the Dawson Academy, attendees will have the benefit of not only learning from experts, but also hearing how their peers are building their practices.

In this course, which will have a size of 20 students, participants will complete a pre-course questionnaire identifying the areas of the practice in which they need the most help. Topics include:

• The New Patient Examination

• Developing the Practice Vision

• Team Issues: hiring, training, evaluation

• Clinical Quality Control

• Productivity

• Profitability

• Marketing

• Scheduling

• Hygiene

• Treatment Planning

• Occlusal Splints

• Digital Photography

• Anterior Esthetics

• TMJ/TMD Diagnosis

• Building a Specialist Team

• Laboratory Relations

• Other: any area of your practice in which you’d like help

The needs of the class participants will dictate the topics covered in the class and the length of time devoted to each one. Dr. Dawson has invited guest instructors with expertise in the identified areas of concern to participate with him during the class. Attendees will develop a customized treatment plan for their practice detailing what they need to start doing, stop doing, and continue doing to improve both their practice and their personal contentment level.

In addition, up-to-date teaching will be provided on the “state of the art” imaging, orthodontic options, implants, orofacial pain, periodontal capabilities, and CAD/CAM.

Class Hours: Day 1 and 2 – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Day 3 – 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Tuition: $4,800 per doctor

CE Credits: 20

Recommended Prerequisites:

Functional Occlusion- From TMJ to Smile Design, Comprehensive Examination and Records, Treatment Planning Functional Esthetic Excellence, Achieving Predictable Esthetic Results, The Art and Science of Equilibration, Restoring Anterior Teeth, and Advanced Problem Solving
