Red Bank, NJ: June 25, 2012 – The American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) is proud to announce the recipients of the AADOM Scholarship fund. Donna Medrano of Katy, TX and Jenny Cronin of Denver, CO will attend the 8th Annual Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. They will each receive full conference tuition.
The scholarship was begun by AADOM members and is maintained by the members. 2011 conference attendees, speakers and vendors contributed to the Scholarship Fund via a raffle and other promotional itmes. The funds will always be used to assist members who wish to attend the annual conference but need financial assistance to do so. AADOM President Heather Colicchio is excited to see both attendees in Scottsdale this year. She says “The enthusiasm with which the members took on the scholarship project was inspiring. I can’t wait to see Donna and Jenny at the conference. Their employers will love the information they’ll bring back!”
Chesson Dental’s Donna Medrano commented that she “appreciate(s) the recognition and enthusiasm being created by AADOM for my position as a Dental Office Manager. Now that I have been blessed with not only the association but also the scholarship to attend this year's conference, I am encouraged to pursue excellence in this position. In the future, I hope to be a Fellow of AADOM and would like to contribute to literature published by the association. Thank you for these opportunities!”
Joining her in Scottsdale will be Jenny Cronin of Dr. Sarah Werner’s office in Denver, CO. Jenny shared with us her thoughts on the scholarship: “I’m so excited about attending this year’s conference, especially since this will be my first time to attend. I’m looking forward to learning new ways of promoting our dental practice, and to hopefully gain new friends I can network with, in the process and future.” She plans on taking courses on medical cross-coding, human resources and leadership.
