SMARTBURS® II offer a less invasive option for deep decay removal. SS White’s SMARTBURS® II are patented rotary cutting instruments of reinforced polymer that selectively remove carious dentin, leaving healthy dentin intact. SMARTBURS® II deform as they encounter harder, healthy dentin thereby protecting the pulp from exposure and reducing post-operative sensitivity. SMARTBURS® II are single-patient use instruments, redesigned and lower priced. Available in sizes #4, #6 and #8 for right angle latch handpieces.
