Endo Rescue Kit

KOMET’s Endo Rescue Kit is specifically engineered to quickly retrieve a fractured rotary nickel-titanium instrument within the canal. This easy-to-use kit is invaluable to practitioners when an emergency occurs. The kit includes an endodontic tungsten carbide bur to enlarge the pulp cavity, improving a practitioner’s vision into the canal. For those practitioners who are not keen on using a handpiece, the kit has a manual removal instrument. The use of an endodontic bur with non-cutting tip in size XXL is recommended to improve vision. A centre drill excavates the last few millimetres, allowing access to the fragment. An extremely fine trepan bur is placed onto the fragment which is then seized by the bur and held in place by dentin residues. The fragment is then pulled out of the root in rotary motion.
