Contour-Strip

The Contour-Strip matrix band from Ivoclar Vivadent has been reintroduced. The transparent, pre-formed matrix bands provide more control and simplify the placement of anterior restorations and Class-V restorations. The considerable demand for Contour-Strip prompted Ivoclar Vivadent to re-launch the matrix band in its original form. The transparent matrix, which is specifically preformed to accommodate the cervical portion of the tooth, takes the challenge out of placing Class-V restorations. The typical “U” shape of the matrix band allows the gingival restoration margins to be shaped in an optimal and controlled fashion. Moreover, the formation of voids or excess is largely avoided. The individually perforated Contour-Strip matrix bands will be available in a dispenser box containing 100 strips.
