Dental Wings, exclusively sold through Zahn Dental, a division of Henry Schein, launched their new 2.5 software release for Crown & Bridge (DWOSCNB) and Implant Design (DWOS-IMP).  The 7Series represents Dental Wings' cumulative engineering expertise integrated with the latest high-end technology components. The 7Series is a 5-axis laser scanner with 2 high-speed measuring cameras and 1 assisted scan preview video camera. The mechanics are driven by a state-of-the-art embedded quad-core computer powered by Windows 7 64 bits and the DWOS™ technology platform.  Scan and Design 30 final copings in 15 minutes (Unattended).  Large scanning volume for fully articulated models (140mm x 140mm x 140mm).  Auto mark margins, scan upper and lower models, automatic path insertion.  Versatile Scanning: Single to full arch preparation on positive plaster models to lower anteriors on silicone-based impressions.  Excellent marginal integrity.  7Seriess comes with pre-installed DWOS software modules which include Crown & Bridge, Implant Custom Abutment, Virtual Articulator, Pre-Operative Implant Planning, Virtual Model Builder, and the Rapid-Prototyping & Manufacturing modules. The Partial Frameworks, Orthodontic Applications and CAM modules are able to be added-on as needed.
