FluoroCore2 + Dual Cure Core Build-up Material plus Fast Endodontic Post Cement enables clinicians to use one material for two parts of the same procedure. Post cementation occurs through a narrow endo tip placing cement into the canal, which can be followed with core build-up for an efficient and effective restorative procedure. When restorative post is not indicated, FluoroCore2 + can be used for just the core build-up prior to crown placement. FluoroCore2 + uses a biocompatible urethane resin that cuts like dentin and is available in two shades, blue and tooth colored. The blue shade permits clear differentiation of the core material from tooth structure suitable for placement under Porcelain Fused to Metal (PFM) indirect restorations. The esthetic tooth-colored shade can be used posterior or anterior where show-through of the core is of primary concern. FluoroCore2 + is indicated for use after application of adhesive bonding agents like Dentsply Caulk’s Total-Etch 5th generation bond, XP Bond.
