Your Progress, Their Promise

Doing more together with Zimmer Biomet Dental

As an affiliate of one of the largest musculoskeletal companies in the world, Zimmer Biomet Dental is well positioned to push the boundaries of progress to help dental professionals achieve exceptional outcomes for their patients on a global scale. Zimmer Biomet Dental recognizes that technological superiority defines the future of implant dentistry, and the company is leading the charge by providing an innovative, comprehensive suite of dental implant and rehabilitation solutions such as the 3.1 mmD Eztetic™ Implant System for narrow, anterior sites and T3® Short Implants for patients with limited bone height. In September 2016, the company expanded the Tapered Screw-Vent® family with the addition of TSVT and TSVM MP-1® HA Implants, which provide new coronal texturing options with microgrooves.

David Josza, General Manager of the Zimmer Biomet dental division, says, “Simply put, it’s our promise to look beyond what’s possible now and discover what is possible next.”

Superior craftsmanship and quality are reflected in the proven clinical performance of the company’s solutions, evident by the more than 650 published articles and accolades by industry associations, including a Medical Design Excellence Award (MDEA). Beyond product offerings, priority attention is the hallmark of Zimmer Biomet Dental’s service commitment, and the company offers an unprecedented level of service and personalized solutions, including: specialized product expertise, potential treatment planning options, customer product training, product warranty, and order and shipment tracking.

As an extension of that unparalleled service, the Zimmer Biomet Institute offers industry-leading educational opportunities to enhance current skill sets and expand into new competencies. Zimmer Biomet Institutes around the world host courses that range from basic restorative programs for dental professionals who restore fewer than five implant cases each year, to advanced cadaveric workshops designed for clinicians who are actively placing and restoring implants. There are also courses developed specifically for laboratory professionals.

In September 2016, the dental division celebrated the grand opening of a newly enhanced Zimmer Biomet Institute in Carlsbad, California—just on the heels of reopening its revamped training center in Parsippany, New Jersey, in February. The 20,000-square-foot dental training center features simulated patient training and didactic clinical presentations. The Parsippany Institute is the only facility in the world to combine those two training methods with the addition of cadaveric workshops. Additional Zimmer Biomet Institute locations are in Bogotá, Columbia; Winterthur, Switzerland; and the global headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
