NexxZr® T Shaded 19 Dental Zirconia

Translucent pre-shaded zirconia offers strength and versatility as well as exceptional esthetics

Setting new standards for quality with pre-shaded zirconia, Sagemax Bioceramics, Inc. recently introduced the most translucent pre-shaded zirconia on the market. Its NexxZr T Shaded 19, which exhibits both great strength and translucency, was developed as an innovative zirconia to complement the skills of the technician.

NexxZr T Shaded 19 colors offer exceptional optical properties; and they are well suited for replicating the Vita Classical® shades of A1 to D4 plus 3 bleach shades: OM1, OM2, and OM3. The addition of the pre-shade color actually increases the strength of the zirconia, thus serving as a cost-effective means of producing highly attractive monolithic as well as other esthetic dental restorations. This translucent monolithic line offers the user an esthetic, strong, and versatile product that is ideal for a variety of indications. With this pre-shaded zirconia offered by Sagemax, the need for pre-stain liquids can be virtually eliminated.

NexxZr T Shaded 19 can be used for full contour and layering of monolithic crowns and bridges, hybrid restorations, and for copings and frameworks for ceramic veneering. It offers extremely high consistency and efficiency, minimum cutback, and is ideal for both low- and high-production laboratories. Users will discover superior hybrid dental restorations combining occlusal strength and high esthetic beauty with great natural light effects.

NexxZr T Shaded 19 represents a continuation of Sagemax’s commitment to provide industry-best zirconia and customer support. Restoration pieces are first milled according to customer specifications, then sintered using a properly calibrated sintering oven. Sintering plays a key role in achieving the highest possible level of translucency and strength. NexxZr T Shaded 19 can be sintered within the range of 1500°C to 1530°C. After the restorations are sintered, post stain and glaze to customize colors. Diamond polishing paste is then used to enhance luster. Pre-shaded colors can be substituted for alternate shades. Conventional post staining techniques can be used to reproduce any desired shades.

Complete instructions and training are available from Sagemax. All the above-mentioned types of restorations can yield exceptional results. The various types are dependent on the specific requirements determined by the clinicians and the dental laboratories.

Based in the USA, Sagemax Bioceramics, Inc. is one of the largest manufacturers of dental zirconia in the world, with products in approximately 2,000 dental laboratories in over 35 countries. Sagemax was the first company in the world to introduce dental zirconia with significant translucency. This translucency is unmatched in the industry and has become the standard by which other dental zirconia is measured.

Using the highest quality machines and zirconia powder, production combines German engineering with processes from Japan to produce consistent high-quality zirconia blanks. Sagemax zirconia is carefully monitored throughout production, and its quality system ensures the product is inspected for exactness. The company has obtained international approvals and certifications such as CE Mark, FDA 510K, and the highest-level certification for medical devices, ISO 13485.

Sagemax has consistently sought to achieve results that are above and beyond other manufacturers, and welcomes its customers' questions and comments at any time.
