Ivoclar Vivadent’s Pat Segnere Retires

Vice president of sales for the Technical Products Team leaves the company after nearly four decades of service.

After 36 years of dedicated service with Ivoclar Vivadent, Pat Segnere, AAS, CDT, vice president of sales for the Technical Products Team, announced his retirement at the end of 2010. He began his dental career in 1967 after graduating from Durham Technical College in Durham, North Carolina, with an Associate of Applied Science degree in dental technology.

Segnere joined Williams Gold Refining in October 1974 as a field sales manager, and was then promoted to district sales manager and later, regional sales manager. After Ivoclar Vivadent acquired Williams in 1987, he was promoted to his most recent position as vice president.

Segnere looks forward to retirement. “I’m planning on spending time with the family, traveling, doing some charity work, and enjoying life,” he says. He and his wife of 40 years are moving back to North Carolina, just outside Raleigh, to be close to extended family.
