The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) friend Dr. Harold Jaffe (CDC) delivered the Dr. John S. Zapp Memorial Lecture at the June Symposium that riveted attendees.  Dr. Jaffe spoke on “The Early AIDS Epidemic in the US: Views from Hollywood and Atlanta.” It was an inspiring presentation that emphasized the importance of epidemiologic work, even when the exact agent involved is not known.
