Edward McLaren, DDS, maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics and esthetic dentistry in which he does all of his own ceramics. He is a professor at the University of Alabama Birmingham Dental School, a co-director of Biomaterials Division, and a co-director of Post Graduate Esthetic Restorative Material Science Masters Residency Program as well as the founder and director of the Advanced Ceramics and Digital Technology for Technicians Program. Also, Dr. McLaren is the founder and director of the Esthetic and Restorative Fellowship. He is the former director of the University of California Los Angeles Center for Esthetic Dentistry and the University of California Los Angeles School for Esthetic Dental Design.
