Align Technology Introduces Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro, Next Generation Patient Communication Tool Featuring In-Face Visualization of a Patient’s Potential Future Smile in Minutes

Posted on Wednesday, May 25, 2022

● Available on iTero Element Plus series scanners and imaging systems.

● Advanced algorithms generate realistic simulations of Invisalign treatment outcomes, available in both in-face and 3D dentition views, to help drive patient education and treatment acceptance.

Align Technology, Inc. (“Align”) (Nasdaq: ALGN), a leading global medical device company that designs, manufactures, and sells the Invisalign system of clear aligners, iTero intraoral scanners, and exocad CAD/CAM software for digital orthodontics and restorative dentistry, today introduced Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro, the next generation of its advanced patient communication tool. This enables doctors to show patients their potential new smile after Invisalign treatment, using in-face visualization and/or 3D dentition view, all done chairside in minutes. Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro is available on iTero Element Plus Series scanners and imaging systems. Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro expands Align’s existing Invisalign Outcome Simulator technology and adds the benefits of the Company’s ClinCheck “In-Face” Visualization tool that combines a photo of a patient’s face with their 3D treatment simulation, creating a truly personalized view of how their new smile could lo

“The Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro with in-face visualization has completely transformed my consultation process. It’s been a real game changer in driving case acceptance as the emotional impact from a patient seeing their smile transformation in their own face is incredibly powerful,” said Dr. Johnathan Fitzpatrick, an esthetic and restorative dentist based in Glasgow, Scotland, who participated in the limited market release of the Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro. “I recently had a patient who came in for a hygiene appointment and ended up accepting an Invisalign treatment after seeing the in-face visualization of their potential future smile.”

Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro supports a more streamlined workflow and overall consultation, making the most of patient chair time. Patient photos are easily captured on a mobile device using the Invisalign Practice App and the scan is taken on the iTero Element Plus series scanner. With those digital patient images, the Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro starts automatically in the background, enabling doctors to continue the consultation using other iTero tools in their chairside discussions with their patients while the Invisalign treatment simulation is generated.

“The new Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro tool is a demonstration of our continued commitment to bringing greater efficiency and more value to doctors through innovation and simplified workflows via the iTero Element portfolio,” said Yuval Shaked, executive vice president, iTero scanners and services business. “It is an exciting new development that furthers Align’s vision of an integrated platform of digital products and services, providing a seamless solution for doctors to efficiently and effectively treat their patients with Invisalign clear aligners and to build their practices through a holistic, end-to-end digital treatment experience.”

“Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro is another example of our drive to empower doctors with the latest advances in dental science and technology via the Align Digital platform to help doctors transform smiles and change lives with Invisalign treatment,” said Raj Pudipeddi, chief product and marketing officer, executive vice president and managing director, Asia Pacific.

Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro will be showcased with live demonstrations at the American Association of Orthodontists Conference in Miami on May 21 - 24, the Nordics GP Forum in Copenhagen Denmark on May 20, and the UKI Ortho Summit in London, United Kingdom on May 20 – 21.

Invisalign Outcome Simulator Pro is currently in limited market release and will be available on all iTero Element Plus Series scanners and imaging systems starting in the second half of 2022.

Centrix Proudly Supports Dental Lifeline Network’s Lifeline Heroes Challenge For Veterans

Posted on Friday, May 20, 2022

Centrix, Inc. is excited to announce its donation toward Dental Lifeline Network’s Lifeline Heroes Challenge For Veterans!

The Lifeline Heroes Challenge For Veterans is an initiative to raise $500,000 to help 1,200 veterans receive donated comprehensive dental treatment.

Affording dental care can be a struggle for people with disabilities, as well as the elderly or medically fragile. Also falling into this category are the military veterans who once served our country, but now don’t have access to dental treatment.

Veteran Affairs is only able to provide dental care to a small fraction of veterans, leaving those like Lee, a 65-year-old Army and Air Force veteran without necessary dental care. Thanks to donations from the Lifeline Heroes Challenge for Veterans, Lee was able to finally eat pain-free and smile again after receiving much-needed dental treatment that included extractions and dentures.

For more than 40 years, Dental Lifeline Network has been a national leader in helping people access the dental care they cannot afford. The Lifeline Heroes Challenge for Veterans takes that service a step further to directly impact the lives of our nation’s veterans. We are thrilled to be a part of such a great mission!

“We are so thankful for partners like Centrix for their participation in the Lifeline Heroes Challenge for Veterans. With their generous donation, we can help veterans across the country get the dental care they need, but would not otherwise be able to afford,” said Lynda Ricketson, president and CEO of Dental Lifeline Network. “Together, we can make a larger, life-changing impact in the veteran community.”

If you would like to join the challenge in helping veterans receive the dental care they need, you can contribute by donating online. Dental Lifeline Network and Centrix.

Employee Surveys Reveal A Deep Connection To The ClearChoice Mission, Belief In The Company Direction, and A Strong Benefits Package

Workplace culture has never been more front-and-center than it is today, particularly as job changes are at record highs. Early this year, ClearChoice Management Services, the administrative support team and innovation center that serves the nation-wide ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers® network, put its company culture to the test by entering the annual The Denver Post Top Workplaces contest to learn firsthand where the company was performing well and where it could improve. Today, ClearChoice is honored to share that the company was selected as one of the Top 150 Workplaces in Colorado. As a result of that employee feedback, ClearChoice surpassed more than 4,600 companies across the region who entered to win this prestigious designation.

According to a 2019 Glassdoor study, 89 percent of adults believe it is important for an employer to have a clear mission and purpose, and 79 percent would consider a company's mission before applying for a job. The ClearChoice network is anchored by its distinct mission to deliver patient-centric, best-in-class solutions and techniques that can help improve the lives of those suffering from acute oral disease. Beyond restoring teeth, ClearChoice providers help people get their lives back by reclaiming their health, smile and confidence. Established in Colorado in 2005, the Greenwood Village-based organization now supports a national network with over 75 locations that are optimized to serve the estimated 37 million Americans with missing or failing teeth. One of the top themes revealed through The Denver Post survey was how much ClearChoice employees feel a deep connection to this mission. Additionally, survey respondents noted confidence in the direction the company is headed as well as an appreciation for the strong benefits package offered.

At the heart of ClearChoice is also a commitment to dental health innovation, another key driver of employee engagement and satisfaction. Through innovative technology and partnerships with the top vendors and suppliers in the industry, ClearChoice employees are rewarded with ample opportunities to test and lead advancements in the field of implant dentistry through areas like the National Dental Lab where technicians are involved with the latest methods of digital design. Advanced patient scanning equipment eliminates the need for traditional oral impressions and lends itself to superior digital design capabilities, which are then brought to life via sophisticated 3D printing technology. The result leads to a better service experience and more accurate prosthesis for the patient.

"Participating in The Denver Post's Top 150 Workplaces program has led us to some great insights into how we are doing as a company and offers a valuable tool for us to better understand the employee experience," said Melissa Duncan, Vice President of Human Resources at ClearChoice. "Winning this award serves as an incredible reminder that our people are our most valuable asset. Doctors in the ClearChoice network are only able to deliver hope and best-in-class solutions to their patients because of the dedicated, passionate teams who choose to work with us every day."

While ClearChoice humbly acknowledges the many ways it is positively serving employees, the company also has significant plans to introduce more benefits and employee development programs, including new Paid Parental Leave and more regular leadership and development training for ClearChoice employees. These benefits will begin to roll out June 1 for all eligible team members.

The ClearChoice Network is a national leader in comprehensive dental implant restoration and advanced oral treatments. To learn more about employment opportunities with ClearChoice, please visit https://www.clearchoice.com/careers/.
