Choosing to reinvest locally in both talent and technology, ROE Dental Laboratory, a full-service manufacturer of functional and esthetic dental restorations, has relocated its operations to a new, expanded facility in Independence, Ohio.
The new space, located at 7165 East Pleasant Valley Rd., is 40,000 square feet, much larger than the previous location. It allows the company to continue its steady growth and increase production capacity. ROE Dental Laboratory employs more than 100 people.
As more manufacturers move operations overseas, ROE Dental Laboratory president B.J. Kowalski said his organization has chosen to strengthen its ties to Northeast Ohio by providing job opportunities to the local area, while continuing to provide progressive resources to dental practitioners nationally.
“We’ve always strived to be one of the nation’s pioneers in the dental laboratory industry, and having this facility will allow us to further that mission,” Kowalski says. “By expanding our space, we will be able to meet our increasing production demands and accommodate future technologies, all of which improve the products we manufacture for dentists and patients.”
Additional features of the new Independence location include:
- Three fully function dental operatory rooms, which include a CBCT and digital x-ray systems, for consults with dentists and their patients as well as hands-on training courses
- 100-seat conference center
- Advanced full-building backup power system to ensure uninterrupted product quality
- Extensive IT infrastructure, prior to renovation the building was a secure data center
