With more than 1,000 implant dentistry professionals attending, the ITI Congress Japan in Tokyo, June 2-3, featured a variety of top national and international speakers. Among them, ITI President Daniel Buser and Urs Belser from Switzerland as well as David Cochran from the United States discussed achievements and complications in implant dentistry. Each session was followed by a panel discussion, giving participants the opportunity to raise questions and to go in-depth into the topics presented.
A poster presentation as well as an impressive industry exhibition were also part of the congress and were very well received by the participants. "The quality of the congress was very good. There was an excellent mix of international and national speakers and the congress venue was superb", said Buser. "Together with the Japanese Section Leadership Team, I am already looking forward to the next ITI Congress Japan which is scheduled for 2015."
