BOSTON - June 22, 2013 - The American Dental Hygienists' Assocation and The Santa Fe Group announced the date for a groundbreaking dental hygiene education symposium at ADHA's Center for Lifelong Learning at the 90th Annual Session.

"Transforming Dental Hygiene Education: Proud Past Unlimited Future" will take place September 18-20 in Chicago. The symposium will examine the current dental hygiene educational environment and consider new directions for the future of dental hygiene education. The goal is to ensure dental hygiene students graduate with the knolwedge and skills needed to serve all patients, help close the access-to-care gaps, and thrive in their profession, says ADHA Executive Director Ann Battrell.
