Technicians have the restorative materials to match patients’ expectations, but it can be difficult to meet the timeframe demanded by both the patient and dentist
Digital dentistry provides improved visualization and consistent quality and accuracy, freeing technicians to perform higher end work
Case presentation showcasing new smile design software
Patients today expect faster case turnaround, and technicians are challenged to produce smile designs in one day that are comparable with those on which considerable time has been spent. By embracing digital technology, same-day and next-day digital dentistry smile design can become routine, and will increase the ability to meet both patient and dentist’s expectations.
Planmeca introduces new Planmeca Romexis® Smile Design. The software allows dentists to design a patient’s smile in a matter of minutes. The software does not require any additional equipment or software to function – the design is easily done using 2D smile photos and intelligent tooth silhouettes.
