Nobel Biocare Names Technician Hans Geiselhöringer President

For the first time, the President of Nobel Biocare is a customer and dental expert. Hans Geiselhöringer, a trained dental technician who joined the company in 2004 as a Global Speaker, was appointed in late January to lead Nobel Biocare.

“Our focus on the patient remains steadfast and constant,” Geiselhöringer says. “Everything we do will continue to be patient-centered, clinically relevant, and evidence based. To strengthen our leadership in implant-based dentistry, we strongly focus on providing integrated digital solutions to improve the customer experience and increase productivity on all levels while enduring a high level of clinical success and predictability.”

Geiselhöringer founded DentalX GmbH, a leading dental laboratory chain specializing in implantology, anaplastology, functional and esthetic reconstructions and imaging technologies, in 1998.

According to a Nobel Biocare press release, he “possesses great technical knowledge of the implant and CAD/CAM industries, as well as deep customer understanding and insights, enabling continuity of innovation at Nobel Biocare.”

Geiselhöringer had been Executive Vice President of Global Research, Products and Development since 2011. Prior to that, he served in various capacities for the company, including Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Products, and Head of NobelProcera and Guided Surgery.

“We at Nobel Biocare will continue our strong commitment to innovation, providing an ongoing pipeline of superior solutions that helps more customers treat more patients better,” Geiselhöringer says.
