A Protective Barrier That Lasts for Hours

Edie Gibson, RDH, MS, on Rincinol

You could say dentistry chose me. My career progressed from traveling the world speaking on dental implants, to opening a private dental hygiene practice, to becoming a full-time speaker. I was searching for a topical pain-relief product that would help my patients suffering from recurrent aphthous ulcers, and I was thrilled by the positive results with Rincinol. It quickly became my "go to" product recommendation.

GUM® Rincinol® P.R.N. Mouth Sore Rinse is an aloe vera based product that promotes the healing of ulcers, irritations, and minor cuts and abrasions by creating a thin bioadhesive protective barrier to shield sensitive nerve-endings.

How does Rincinol work?
Rincinol's micro-thin, invisible, bio-protective adhesive barrier protects nerve endings from irritants such as food, hot/cold/acidic liquids, and other mechanical abrasives, like dentures and orthodontic appliances.

What do your patients think?
My patients loved the ease and simplicity of Rincinol-simply swish and spit. No mess and no need to touch the mouth sore. This results in increased compliance.

What makes this product special?
This benzocaine-free oral rinse allows the mouth to heal itself in a natural, pain-free state. The protective shield can last up to six hours.
