Sirona's TiBase set uses innovative and precision-intensive scanbodies to identify implant location. This software then transfers this into inLab 3D software, so dentists can design implants according to clinical specifications. Once the implant has been milled, the base serves as a bonding platform for zirconium oxide ceramic mesostructure. The abutment screw then uses a metal-to-metal connection to attach the glued parts to the implant in the patient’s mouth.
