Pericardium

Exactech’s Pericardium is a biological three-layered membrane that encases and protects the heart, and is used in surgeries when guided tissue regeneration (GTR) procedures are needed. It may be used in dental procedures where resorbable barrier membranes are currently used.

Pericardium is supplied freeze-dried and is available in individual packages, which can be stored at room temperature. Its ease of handling allows flexibility and adaptability to the surgical site. It is both biocompatible and bioresorbable, with no post-operative removal required.
