Pro-Post forges a stronger bond between the post and dentinal wall because the post is uniquely acid etched. The acid-etched post is textured with deep grooves and ridges, creating more actual surface area to be bonded, while decreasing the amount of stress placed on the tooth structure. With Pro-post, the build-up process may be completed immediately following insertion of the post. Plus Pro-Post's exposed top is also acid etched, allowing the build-up bond to the cylinder rings and providing additional mechanical retention.
