Figure 1 | I have been using Darby’s Disposable Air/Water Syringe Tips in my practice for over 4 years. I love the fact that there is no conversion or adaptors necessary. In the past, adaptors have failed on me over extended use. The grooves in Darby’s tips ensure a snug, locking secure fit so that the tip stays in place throughout the whole procedure. The all plastic exterior construction, metal core, and beveled edge ensure that the tip won’t leak water on my patients as I transition from air to water and back to air. I enjoy the benefits of the Syringe Tips’ steel interior/plastic exterior and snug locking fit in an interchangeable tip, along with the dry air and lack of moisture contamination.

Ten years ago, I made the decision to change from metal autoclavable tips to disposable versions. Since then, I have found that Darby’s Disposable Air/Water Syringe Tips are interchangeable with any of the market leader’s disposable air/water tips that I have tried. I love the fact that I don’t have to worry about biofilm build-up within the tips, thanks to the fact that they are one-time use, sanitary, and cost-effective. Because of the quad-air core design, the disposable air/water syringe tips deliver dry air with no moisture contamination as a result of the separate air and water channels.

My decision to switch over my air/water tips to disposable is based on our ongoing effort to remove bioburden from our dental instruments and equipment and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Since that time, I have read a multitude of studies that show biofilm buildup within a traditional metal reusable air/water syringe tip, and it is not something I would consider exposing my patients to ever again. Our Darby account manager has provided us with a wealth of knowledge and information in our constant efforts to find creative ways to save money and reduce the bioburden in our office. I would highly recommend Darby Dental Supply to all my colleagues.

Darby’s Disposable Air/Water Syringe Tips provide me the perfect blend of quality, value, and peace of mind so I can continue to offer the finest standard of care to my patients as I carry on my devotion to providing exceptional dentistry.
