Clinician’s Choice Announces Bermuda Dental Conference

Revealing clinically sound solutions to every day clinical challenges

The Bermuda Dental Conference, sponsored by Clinician’s Choice and hosted at the luxurious Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda, will be held September 30 to October 3, 2015. Offering 13 continuing education (CE) credits, the clinically focused program features three half-day lectures plus an optional lecture/hands-on program (providing 3 additional CE credits), all packed full of the latest information on esthetic and restorative dentistry.

Day 1 features Dr. David Clark speaking on the topic “Controversies in Dentistry 2015—Which Side is Right?” Designed for dentists and staff members who are interested in learning about the latest materials and techniques, this lecture will highlight three critical issues in restorative dentistry: use of porcelain and composites, treating cracked teeth, and evidence-based endodontic preparation. On Day 2, Dr. Elliott Mechanic will present “Interdisciplinary Dentistry—The Restorative Quarterback,” which focuses on the role of the restorative dentist in developing a comprehensive, interdisciplinary treatment plan. Participants will learn how to use facial analysis to guide treatment planning and how to ensure team collaboration with orthodontists and other colleagues for spectacular esthetic results. Day 3 features Dr. Robert A. Lowe speaking about “Creating ‘World-Class’ Crown and Bridge Restorations.” This course will provide a step-by-step guide to techniques that will help participants immediately elevate their level of indirect restorative dentistry, from proper anatomic tooth reduction and creating excellent provisionals to tissue management and delivery techniques. Day 4’s optional lecture and hands-on program (extra fees apply) features Dr. Gildo Santos and Gregg Tousignant, CDT, covering the topic, “Filling in the Gaps,” which will focus on best practices for the treatment of midline diastemas, peg laterals, and nearly impossible black triangles. This must-see presentation is for anyone interested in providing the best possible anterior bonded esthetic restorations and better dentistry to their patients.

With plenty of time to rest and relax each day, attendees can enjoy all that Bermuda has to offer, whether you prefer golf, tennis, snorkeling, or simply relaxing by the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The Bermuda Dental Conference provides top-notch education in a beautiful and memorable setting.
