Articadent® DENTAL (articaine HCl and epinephrine) Injection

Effective, reliable, fast-acting, and versatile anesthetic

Clinicians seek reliable, efficient ways to deliver the best care for their patients with every product and technique used in their dental practice while also ensuring their workflow runs smoothly. With this in mind, accomplishing many of the procedures performed in a dental practice hinges on the ability to consistently and effectively achieve profound anesthesia.

Using an anesthetic that can reliably, consistently, and predictably cause profound anesthesia on the first try is extremely important.

The articaine molecule became available in the United States more than a decade ago. Articadent has typical onset duration of 1 to 9 minutes, and it is quickly becoming the local anesthetic of choice for many dentists.

Articadent® is the articaine from DENTSPLY, a leading manufacturer and distributor of dental and other consumable healthcare products. Articadent® is indicated for local, infiltrative, or conductive anesthesia in both simple and complex dental procedures. Articadent® is manufactured with terminal sterilization, which is the preferred sterilization technique over aseptic processing as per FDA guidelines.* In addition, syringes and needles for dental injections do not change when switching molecules, making the switch to Articadent® very easy for clinicians. For effective, reliable pain management, choose Articadent®, the fast-acting, versatile anesthetic backed by the legacy of the DENTSPLY brand.

*SEE FDA’S 2004 GUIDANCE: Guidance for Industry Sterile Drug Products Produced by Aseptic Processing — Current Good Manufacturing Practice. “It is a well-accepted principle that sterile drugs should be manufactured using aseptic processing only when terminal sterilization is not feasible.”
