Composi-Tight 3D XR Sectional Matrix System

A long-awaited solution to the interproximal dilemma

Regardless of the improved restorative material and adhesive system choice, placing a properly contoured direct Class 2 composite restoration still is one of the hardest tasks that dentists face today. Clinicians battle daily the dilemma of how to achieve consistently tight interproximal contacts without having to spend unnecessary time reworking the same Class 2 composite, which often still leaves with a less than perfect restoration.

The importance of a tight interproximal contact in a fully contoured composite restoration becomes more critical when the desired effects are hard to achieve or cannot be achieved at all. The new Garrison Composi-Tight 3D XR™ matrix system seems to offer a long-awaited solution to these problems.

Garrison’s new Composi-Tight 3D XR matrix system is the answer to the dreaded interproximal dilemma, which left some dentists overtreating teeth due to the fear of being unable to restore interproximal contacts to their ideal contour. The arrival of this newly designed interproximal matrix system ensures an ideal contact and contour delivery with each interproximal composite restoration.

The Garrison solution ensures true matrix band adaptation and vastly reducing flash and finishing time, allowing the dentist to create tight, anatomically correct contacts without the fear of spring-off during the placement procedure (even in cases with short, malpositioned or pedodontic teeth).

Garrison has continued to improve its matrix system design since its inception in 1997. Having yet again raised the global standard for an interproximal matrix system, this direct interproximal composite placement aid has proven to be a must-have in the arsenal of every quality minded dentist.

Developments in dentistry have allowed clinicians to improve the quality of treatments they render to their patients while simplifying the necessary techniques used. By integrating new technologies like the Composi-Tight 3D XR system by Garrison into the clinician’s arsenal, life in the interproximal composite placement sector just became easier.
