NATURAL BEAUTY: GRADATION OF COLOR

The multi-layered KATANA™ Zirconia Block consists of four layers of zirconia in gradated shades. This product allows the chair side fabrication of natural-tooth-colored restorations – eliminating additional sintering time. Use the CEREC Move Tool to position the restoration within the layers.

The collaboration of Kuraray Noritake Dental’s superior materials technology and Dentsply Sirona’s CEREC Primemill with the Speed Fire oven now makes it possible to mill in under 5-minutes and sinter a full zirconia restoration in 18-minutes.

CEREC: WORKFLOW

KATANA™ Zirconia Block, the innovative multi layered zirconia block, can be used with Dentsply Sirona’s CEREC system. A new 18-minute sintering program has been developed and is now ready to install. The new technology makes it possible to fabricate a full zirconia single unit restoration in approx. 35 minutes.

*”CROWN” block is validated for Superfast milling mode.

CERABIEN™ ZR FC Paste Stain: WORKFLOW

1. Create a surface texture over the entire crown under running water or wet condition

2. Polish areas in contact with opposing tooth* (For finishing with polishing alone, complete entire crown while polishing) ‘Refer to “Polishing method” given below

3. Alumina sandblast the surface of the crown (50-70 μm, 0.2 MPa / 2bar)

4. Clean restoration using an ultrasonic cleaner (in alcohol or acetone or steam cleaner)

5. Apply glaze and bake

KATANA™ Cleaner: WORKFLOW

1. Apply and rub KATANA™ Cleaner for at least 10 seconds

2. Rinse and dry

3. Cement the restoration according to the manufacturer instructions
