About the Author

Lee H. Silverstein, DDS, MS, FACD, FICD

Dr. Silverstein is an Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontics at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Silverstein lectures with ADE Seminars both nationally and internationally on topics of periodontal plastic surgery, dental implantology, hard and soft tissue regenerative surgical techniques, and oral medicine.

Dr. Silverstein has contributed extensively to the literature, authoring over 120 scientific articles published in refereed journals, as well as the highly acclaimed textbooks Principles of Dental Suturing: A Complete Guide To Surgical Closureand Principles of Soft Tissue Surgery: A Complete Step By Step Procedural Guide. He has also been a contributing editor to numerous textbooks, for which he has written 8 chapters. Dr. Silverstein is privileged to be on the contributing editorial boards of Inside Dentistry, Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, Functional Esthetics and Restorative Dentistry, Practical Periodontics and Aesthetic Dentistry, Dentistry Today, Collaborative Dental Techniques,and The Academy of General Dentistry Scientific Magazine.

Dr. Silverstein has been granted Fellowships in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
