Commitment to Innovation

In April 2012, Kuraray Medical Inc. and Noritake Dental Supply Co., Ltd., joined forces to become Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc. With the merger of these two multinational companies, Kuraray Noritake Dental aims to create synergies in the areas of development, production, and sales, thus strengthening its presence in the Japanese and global markets. In the United States, Kuraray America, Inc., represents our manufacturer, Kuraray Noritake Dental (kuraraynoritake.com).

Exceptional Know-how, High-end Dental Products

The company now benefits from an exceptional know-how in organic and inorganic chemistry. With its combined expertise, Kuraray Noritake Dental is now moving forward to develop further high-end dental products, from ceramics to composites and even biomaterials.

Since Kuraray's introduction of the first adhesive in dentistry, CLEARFIL Liner Bond F, in 1978, dentistry has been pushed constantly forward. With Super Porcelain EX-3, launched by Noritake in 1987, a new veneering ceramic was created. Over the years, products such as the gold standards CLEARFIL SE Bond and PANAVIA proved to be quality references in science.

After years of independent pioneering, Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc. is now very excited to bring you more revolutionary products and services. By combining our technologies, we are now able to create biomaterials like TEETHMATE Desensitizer and the first multi-colored zirconia in the world, KATANA Zirconia ML. The newest members of the family are PANAVIA V5, with the original 10-methacryloyloxydecyl dihydrogen phosphate (MDP) technology, and KATANA Zirconia Block, a multi-layered translucent block for chairside use.

As the originator of MDP technology, we specialize in adhesion to enamel, dentin, metal, ceramic, and metal oxide (zirconia).  The innovation of multilayered zirconia, in both puck and block form, KATANA gives both the dentist and laboratory the ability to create natural, lifelike restorations. The dentist and laboratory can benefit from our innovations in both ceramics and chairside technology under one umbrella.

At Kuraray Noritake Dental, a patient's smile means more than anything else.

Sincerely,

Manabu Suzuki
