A Tribute to Restorative Dentistry Pioneer Adrian Jurim, MDT, 1947-2017

Posted on Wednesday, December 20, 2017

Adrian Jurim, MDT, co-owner of Jurim Dental Studio, passed away this month at the ago of 70. His family issued the following statement:

"Adrian Jurim was a fearless innovator in the field of dental technology. As a master dental technician, he was an artisan who had an eye for beauty like no other. He loved being an educator, teaching extensively on the topic of smile design and porcelain laminate veneers, and even held the patent for the concept of the etched porcelain laminate veneer. His uncanny ability to instill confidence and enthusiasm in every clinician with whom he collaborated always helped ensure case success. He and his wife built a successful dental lab, Jurim Dental Studio, out of nothing but blood, sweat, and brains. He was the definition of the American dream. He taught all those he loved to go all-in, be enthusiastic, be kind, love hard, be imperfect, be confident, and be a fighter. He will be sorely missed by his wife, son, and daughter."
